UAE: Canara Catholics Fujairah Completes Two on June 7
Fujairah, May 16: The Mangalorean Community in the East Coast of the UAE known as “Canara Catholics Fujairah” will be celebrating their Second Anniversary on June 7, 2007 in the Fujairah Marine Club, Fujairah. The programme will start at 8:00 pm and will go on until the early hours of next morning.
The main purpose of this event is to bring together all the Mangaloreans and the Konkani-speaking community in the East Coast and to unite them as one family, in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. The event will comprise of dance, music, games, gifts galore, buffet and lots of other surprises.
Fr Michael Cardoz, parish priest of Fujairah Church will grace the occasion and Francis Fernandes Cascia, a well-known actor and playwright popularly know, as the “King of Comedy”, will be the guest of honour.
