Speaking to Daijiworld.Com Correspondent in Abu Dhabi, Dolphy Vaz - President of Konkani Cultural Organization informed that" due to unprecedented demand for invitations and due to lack of space, the issuing of invitations for the KCO' s forthcoming "Mangalorean Day" has been stopped and the show is fully sold out". He regretted saying that "though we want to accommodate as many people as possible but due to technical reasons, it is next to impossible to accommodate more people. We really feel sorry for the people who missed out this golden opportunity" he continued.
Meanwhile the compere of the programme Miss Daijiworld Melita Pinto and Melody King Rony D'Cunha have arrived in Abu Dhabi and were welcomed by KCO offcials at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
It is anticipated that the much awaited event on Friday May 18, at the Arzanah Ball Room - Abu Dhabi Sheraton will turn out to be a super show.

Abu Dhabi/Dubai : May 15: Konkani Cultural Organization (KCO) is all set to present this years first full-fledged Konkani Extravaganza the "Mangalorean Day" at Abu Dhabi Sheraton Hotel on Friday May 18, 2007.

Being Abu Dhabi's one and only premier Organization, Konkani speaking people of both Mangalore and Goa eagerly await to witness this annual full day event organized by K.C.O. as events of this kind in Abu Dhabi are rare and not forthcoming.
This years event will be with a difference -fun filled and packed with variety of entertainment to suite all tastes.
The main artistes arrived in Dubai last night comprising of Eric Ozario and his wife Joyce along with his team of Musicians along with Bollywood fame music director Alwyn Fernandes and others all the way from Mangalore. The team was welcomed by KCO President Dolphy Vaz, former president Michael D`Silva, Bennet D`Mello, Gerry D`Mello, Frankline D'Cunha and other KCO office bearers at Dubai Airport,
Lulu - Goa's nightingale arrived earlier and the compere extraordinaire Miss Daijiworld and Daijiworld TV anchor Melita Pinto will arrive in Abu Dhabi this evening from Mangalore. The melody king Rony D'Cunha will arrive from Kuwait on Wednesday to join the other artistes' in Abu Dhabi.
The organizers are fully prepared and look forward to present a fun filled day for the whole family. The event will include music, choicest of songs, short skits by local talents with rib tickling comedy, dance, and novelties with attractive prizes etc. which will keep the audience spell bound.
