Alibag, May 11: Three persons were killed and at least 20 others injured when a bus, in which they were travelling, plunged into a stream near here on Thursday, police said.
The bus, carrying 70 people from Malad near Mumbai, fell into the stream near Khalapur early in the morning, they said.
The passengers were heading towards Pune to attend a marriage.
One of the dead was bus driver Chandanram Arya while the remaining two deceased, including a woman, were yet to be identified, police said.
The injured were rushed to various hospitals in Kalamboli, Panvel and Khopoli.
