Mumbai, May 9:  The famous Pejavar Math of Udupi will have yet another math at Nashik near here. The foundation stone will be laid by Vishveshatheertha Swamiji of Pejavar Math, on Friday May 11 at 9.30 a.m.

According to a press release, as Nasik is one of the most renowned pilgrim centres in the country, the math will cater to thousands of pilgrims visiting the place from across the nation.

The math will be constructed near Panchvati Dental Medical College. A hall will also be built on the river bank of Godhavari, which will enable the pilgrims to carry out many religious rituals and activities. The math will also help the Tulu - Kannada associations in Nasik.

Local leader of National Youth Congress Ranjan Thakre, Nasik deputy mayor Ajay Borote will be present as special guests. Huge number of people from the neighbouring places of Pune, Mumbai and local people from Karnataka origin based in Nasik, are expected to attend the foundation ceremony.
