Rons Bantwal for Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai (AF)

Mumbai, Apr 30: The doyen of the Mewati Gharana and veteran Hindustani Classical vocalist Pt Jasraj captivated a highly distinguished audience at Raj Bhavan with his heavenly performance recently.

The musical concert was organized by the South Central Zone Cultural Centre on the beautiful lawns of Raj Bhavan here at the initiative of Maharashtra governor S M Krishna.

S M Krishna felicitated Pt Jasraj and other accompanying artistes with shawl and bouquet.

Prema Krishna, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, former governor of West Bangal Viren Shah and other eminent guests were present on the occasion.
