Mumbai, Apr 27: Dakshina Kannada District Youth Congress president Bondala Jagannath Shetty was in the city to meet Maharashtra minister Suresh Shetty to hold discussions on key issues here on Thursday April 26.
After the meeting, he met several Congress leaders and discussed ways to attract youth to join the Congress Party. KPCC member Rame Gowda of Hassan, Karnataka, and other were also present.
They alleged that though the Congress Party has been striving to develop Dakshina Kannada district on the lines of Mumbai, the present Karnataka government is only bothered about staying in power and hasn’t done anything for the benefit of the people. They also said that their Party has been striving to cater to the needs of the common people.
