Vidya, Amee to don India colours for snooker championships


Bengaluru, June 15 (IANS): Vidya Pillai and Amee Kamani qualified to represent India in the World Championship snooker to be held in November later this year.

The players were selected on the basis of their overall rankings following competition in the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India's camps which concluded here on Sunday.

The final overall rankings were: 1. Vidya Pillai; 2. Amee Kamani; 3. Arantxa Sanchis; 4. Chitra Magimairajan; 5. Umadevi Revanna; 6. Judy Walia; 7. Suniti Damani; 8. Neeta Sanghvi.
