Bhupathi-Kyrgios knocked out of French Open


Paris, May 26 (IANS): India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his doubles partner Australia's Nick Kyrgios were knocked out of the French Open after suffering a straight set defeat in the first round of the men's doubles match here on Monday.

Australia's Thanasi Kokkinakis and France's Lucas Pouille beat the Indo-Australian pair 6-3, 6-1 to enter the second round.

Bhupathi-Kyrgios never looked in control of the game as the pair faced an early exit from the tournament.
