Bangalore, Apr 1: Recognizing his achievements accomplished in printing technology, T Satish U Pai has been selected for the prestigious “Aryabhata Award” along with 52 prominent people who have served their respective fields with full dedication, said H L L Rao, the President of Aryabhata Cultural Society.

The awards would be presented to the awardees at a function to be held at Ravindra Kala Kshetra in Bangalore on April 26 at 6.30 pm, he added.

Announcing the list of awardees, he said Dr B A Vivek Rai, Vice Chancellor Hampi University, Prof L S Sheshagiri Rao, senior litterateur were two important personalities who have figured in the award list.

The Names of the other awardees and their respective fields are as follows:

Research: Dr T V Venkatachala Shastri;
Review: Dr Narahalli Balasubrahmanyam;
Media: Dr Mahesh Joshi;
Media and Public Relations: Mulukunta N Prakash;
Journalism: Venkatanarayana, Babu Krishnamurthy;
Banking: Prakash P Mallya;
Indian Air Force: Sq Leader K N Shastri;
Marine Navy: Sudiendranath;
Spiritual: Pavagada Prakash Rao

Novel: Vyasaraya Ballal, Vishalakshi Dakshinamurthy;
