Knights opt to bowl against Mumbai Indians

Mumbai, May 14 (IANS): Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir won the toss and chose to bowl against Mumbai Indians in an Indian Premier League encounter at the Wankhede Stadium here on Thursday.

Knight Riders have made two changes in their playing 11 as Morne Morkel and Shakib Al Hasan come in for Brad Hogg and Johan Botha. For Mumbai Indians, Vinay Kumar replaced Jasprit Bumrah.

The teams:

Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma (captain), Lendl Simmons, Parthiv Patel, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, Ambati Rayudu, Kieron Pollard, Jagadeesha Suchith, Vinay Kumar, Mitchell McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga.

Kolkata Knight Riders: Gautam Gambhir (captain), Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, Yusuf Pathan, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Piyush Chawla, Morne Morkel, Umesh Yadav, Sunil Narine.
