New Delhi, May 13 (IANS): It was a sunny Wednesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.
"There will be partly cloudy sky on Wednesday. Dust storm and thunder storm could occur in some areas of the region," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 61 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 38.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
