New Delhi, Mar 26: Alleging the BCCI of adopting selective media leaks to sack Indian Coach Greg Chappell and Indian cricket team captain Rahul Dravid, Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today threatened to seek a full-fledged inquiry into the working and huge funds at the disposal of the Indian cricket board.

Dr Swamy in a statement accused the media of launching a motivated and systematic campaign to throw out Dravid and Chappell at the behest of individual members like Rajiv Shukla and bring in Sachin Tendulkar who had given up the captaincy unable to shoulder the heavy burden.

Dravid, he said was a 'consistent performer' in whatever order he was required on the field.

If the BCCI will not stop targeting incovenient players but performing players, he would be left with no alternative but to approach the Court and seek an inquiry into the working of the BCCI.

''We can't allow cricket to be ruined for crude business reasons and at the behest of those with a personal axe to grind,'' Dr Swamy said.
