Rio de Janerio, May 7 (IANS): Brazilian giants Flamengo are considering a move to sign Robinho, said a media report on Thursday.
The Brazil international winger has recaptured his best form since joining Santos on a year-long loan from AC Milan last August, Xinhua reported.
Despite having expressed his wish to remain at Santos after his loan expires, the 31-year-old is said to be increasingly unhappy about the club's salary delays.
"There are always inquiries from other Brazilian clubs because they know that my salary has been delayed," Robinho was quoted as saying by the Globo newspaper.
"Clubs always want good players. There have been inquiries but I want to stay. I am a professional and I always think about what is best for my career. In football things can change very quickly. I want to stay at Santos until the end of my career. It depends on the club to get things up to date."
Robinho was rewarded for his form by being included in Brazil's squad for the Copa America, to be played in Chile from June 11 to July 4.
