Djokovic holds top spot in ATP singles rankings


Madrid, May 4 (IANS): Serbian star Novak Djokovic held on to first place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) world singles rankings on Monday with 13,845 points.

Swiss legend Roger Federer also maintained second spot with 8,635 points, followed by Scots Andy Murray and 14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal of Spain, reports Efe.

The current ATP rankings and point scores are:

1. Novak Djokovic (Serbia): 13,845 points
2. Roger Federer (Switzerland): 8,635
3. Andy Murray (Scotland): 6,120
4. Rafael Nadal (Spain): 5,390
5. Kei Nishikori (Japan): 5,280
6. Milos Raonic (Cananda): 5,070
7. Tomas Berdych (Czech): 4,960
8. David Ferrer (Spain): 4,490
9. Stanislas Wawrinka (Switzerland): 3,495
10. Marin Cilic (Croatia): 3,405.
