Dubai: A Memorable Evening with Gopi Kamath

Dubai, Mar 19: An evening was arranged by the Music Lovers of Mangalore at the India Club Dubai on the 16th of  March 2007. 

The programme commenced at 8.00 pm with the living legend Gopi Kamath who made a special place in the hearts of every music lover present at the venue.



Gopi Kamath who is an Engineer by profession and for his passion for music has started devoting his full time for singing since 25 years down the lane. He played the key-board and sang sentimental romantic numbers of the 60ies, 70ies and the 80ies, and in addition, the latest numbers on the chart.





 He sang in mostly all languages and kept the crowd swaying until the early hours of dawn. It was the time factor that brought this wonderful evening to a stop.

The event was compered by Vandana Prabhu who has been hosting events since a very early age and once she graduated in Events Management a few years ago she conducts programmes on a regular basis.



The evening was focused on enjoyment, music, dancing, laughter and spot prizes.
Gopi Kamath was  felicitated by Dr Pursha Nayak, and  mementoes were given to the sister’s Sadhana and Sangeetha  Mallya, co-singers as a token of appreciation. 



Music lovers from Mangalore plans to host these melodious evenings on a regular basis at different venues due to the demand from the audience that gathered this evening. 






The  main  organizers  were  Suresh  Pai & family  and  Ramachandra  Hegde & family
