Ahmedabad, Mar 18: A forty-five-year-old man died in Gujarat's Jamnagar district while watching the cricket World Cup match between India and Bangladesh, a family member of the deceased said here.
However, the family was not sure if the man died due to the shock triggered by India's poor display in its opening match.

Vinod Kotecha, a fruit vendor, listened to radio commentary to keep a tab on the match in the evening and closed his shop after dark to watch the remaining action on television with his family members.

"But as the game progressed he suddenly stopped responding to my questions and when I called him he was motionless," Pravin, brother of Koetcha said.

Vinod's wife, four children and brother rushed him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
