Tremors felt in Punjab, Haryana

Chandigarh, April 25 (IANS): Tremors were felt in Punjab, Haryana and in the capital city of Chandigarh following the 7.9 Richter Scale earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday.

The tremors were felt around 11.40 a.m. and lasted a few seconds.

Authorities in both the states said that there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
