KKR opt to field against Kings XI

Pune, April 18 (IANS): Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the toss and elected to field against Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter at the MCA International Stadium here on Saturday.

KKR have brought in pacer Umesh Yadav in place of K.C. Cariappa while Kings XI have replaced Thisara Perera for David Miller.

The teams:

Kolkata Knight Riders: Gautam Gambhir (captain), Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, Morne Morkel, Sunil Narine, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Andre Russell, Shakib Al Hasan, Surya Yadav, Umesh Yadav.

Kings XI Punjab: George Bailey (captain), Murali Vijay, Virender Sehwag, Wriddhiman Saha, Yogesh Golwalkar, Glenn Maxwell, Axar Patel, Thisara Perera, Mitchell Johnson, Anureet Singh, Sandeep Sharma.
