LJP leader faces case for vulgar pictures of Smriti Irani

Patna, Apr 18 (IANS): A case was lodged against a Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader in Bihar's Samastipur district on Saturday for allegedly circulating vulgar pictures of union Minister Smriti Irani on WhatsApp messenger.

"An FIR was lodged with us (over vulgar pictures of Irani) and it made LJP leader Umashankar Mishra as the main accused," said Samastipur's Superintendent of Police S.P. Chaudhary.

Mishra is Samastpur town president of the LJP, which is an ally of Irani's Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJP leader Rajiv Ranjan, who approached police, said vulgar pictures of Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani were circulated on WhatsApp and these pictures were also sent to some BJP leaders through Mishra's mobile phone.

"We have submitted evidences to police," Ranjan said. "It was an attempt to defame Irani and the BJP."

Ranjan urged LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan, a union minister, to take strong action against Mishra.

Cyber crime cell of Bihar Police launched an investigation into the case.

    There is dignity of labour and nothing wrong in working as a chaiwala,waitress, or cleaner. Your cheap mindedness shows that your thinking is so low. In US,most of the President to high ranked politicians has to go through petty jobs to support their education.     I'v heard many Indians do not understand the american or English spoken English.
    Mrs. Irani has a splendid gift of English language accompanied with wit, humour and extraordinary ability to convince the listener. Though i do not endorse her ideology, i strongly object you sitting in some bannur, commenting her English speaking skills.

    As i said, I do not speak for Mrs. Irani. But refute your misguided writing about her speaking skills in English.
    Now, After reading your reply, I find myself at fault for replying you you do not understand what i have commented and hence there is no hope that you will understand much polished words of Mrs. Irani.
