Pakistan's Ehsan Adil ruled out of Bangladesh series

Dhaka, April 18 (IANS): The Pakistan cricket team suffered another blow with right-arm pacer Ehsan Adil set to miss the remainder of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against Bangladesh due to a hamstring injury.

Adil is the fourth player to be ruled out for Pakistan, who lost to Bangladesh for only the second time in 48 games and 16 years on Friday, when they were beaten by 79 runs in Mirpur in the first ODI.

Sohaib Maqsood and Sohail Khan, 2015 World Cup squad members, were already ruled out before the start of the tour while on Thursday leg spinner Yasir Shah was sent home after he injured his hand, reports cricket.com.au.

Adil will be replaced by veteran pacer Umar Gul.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh will be bustling with confidence heading into Sunday's second ODI after centuries from Mushfiqur Rahim and Tamim Iqbal helped them secure a 1-0 lead in the series.
