Kuwait, Feb 25: The newly elected AAK Committee headed by Diany Coutinho celebrated ‘Annual Day 2007’ at the Carmel School Auditorium, Khaitan on February 24.  An evening very specially laid down for the members, their families and friends started with slow music to set the mood. Reyana welcomed the gathering.

 

After the introduction of the new committee by Crystal, the chief guest of the event Sr Carmel Rita was felicitated by President of the Association Diany Coutinho. Sr Carmel Rita in her speech thanked AAK for their support towards their Alma Mater. 

 

 

A few AAK children were also awarded for their outstanding performances in different fields during the year 2005-2007. Also present at the event were Sr Bernita and Sr Marialytta.

 

 


Diany Coutinho delivered the vote of thanks and handed over a scholarship cheque to Sr Carmel Rita. The programme was entertaining with dances from AAK members and their children.

 

Jasmine and Roney D’Cunha sang a Konkani hit to the music of music maestro Adrian Gomes.  The audience danced to the music of ‘Hidden Talents’ and ‘Music Masters’ and bagged a few spot prizes.  The programme was well compered by Reyana, Crystal and Reynal.
