Daijiworld News Network - Dubai

Dubai, Feb 23: As part of Air India's continued efforts to introduce more flights to Mangalore destination,  Air India, in an official communication to daijiworld on Friday February 23, 2007, has informed that from March AI Express will fly 5 times a week and bookings have  already opened online on www.airindiaexpress.in

In a letter to daijiworld, the Air India official has said that barring Sundays and Tuesdays, AI Express will fly all other 5 days a week to Mangalore from Dubai and back.

"Timing has a minor change from March 25, AI Express will take off from Dubai at 1400 hrs local time instead of current 14.30 hrs and from Mangalore the flight will take off at 2010 hrs instead of 2100 hrs"

Official also said  that Doha-Bahrain-Mangalore booking will open online from next week, subject to schedule approval by the Airport authorities

"We are extremely happy with the load going from Mangalore-Dubai sector as almost flights are going full, and we have rectified some loopholes in the luggage system and timings."

Still AI Express has requested the passengers to adhere to luggage limitation while travelling to Mangalore from all destinations.

"Abu Dhabi-Muscat-Mangalore flight is yet to gather momentum as the current booking is not up to our expectations," says the official
