Mangalore, Feb 19: A fabulous 'Alfresco Dining Experience' is what Hotel Taj Manjarun Mangalore has to office this February. Begun on February 14 the alfresco dining by the poolside is an exclusive and exotic dining concept introduced for the first time in Mangalore.

This concept of dining under a canopy of stars and live cooking by the side is targeted primarily at couples. The Taj Alfresco dining will be available every evening from 7:30 pm onwards.

According to a press release, three sets of exotic continental cuisine TDH menus have been designed and will be used alternatively. The theme and ambiance is blue. Blue indirect lights in the bamboo groves at the poolside, blue lights in the pool, blue frosted glass top glowing tables, blue napkins and blue chair ribbons will add to the ambiance.

The concept is a unique dining experience and the emphasis is on quality food and quality service. Set up is only for a maximum of 05 couples (05 tables of 02 covers each).

Fresh green asparagus in the clutches of a crispy pastry case with aromatic hollandaise, a jumble of garden fresh greens laced with cocktail sauce surrounded by prawns served with Chardonnay Chantili 2004 Oak barrel aged, sherry laced chicken soup with chicken quenelles and spinach ribbons, Tomato bean broth with basil foccacia and multigrain roll are on the menu. The main course however consists of an array of selection of meat and exotic English vegetables, pre-portioned with accompaniments in fine dining style by our chef.

A Choice of Pasta with choice of sauces from the Pasta counter served with Cabernet Sauvignon Chantili 2004 is also on the chart.

Taj Manjarun Mangalore is offering Alfresco Dining for the first time in Mangalore.
