Mumbai, Feb 17: The ‘Holy Cross of Chakala’ crucifix at Andheri (E) here, which is being worshiped from many years now, which was renovated, was unveiled on Friday February 16.
Holy Family Church parish priest Fr Joe M Dias conducted the prayers and gave the sermon.
Local corporator Subash Sawant was present as the chief guest. Holy Cross of Chakala coordinator Walter Gonsalves, Flynn Gonsalves, Louis Alvares and advisor Ganpath Shetty were present.
More than a thousand people attended the occasion.
