Bengaluru: Amitabh Bachchan to foray into Sandalwood

Bengaluru, Mar 22 (Agencies): If scuttlebutts are to be believed, the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan will be soon seen starring with the south star Shivarajkumar in his upcoming Kannada film 'Kabira'.

If Big B accepts the offer, then his association with the Kannada star will not be new as earlier, the Bollywood megastar had done an ad shot for Kalyan Jewellers with Shivarajkumar.

Shivarajkumar's 'Kabira' is all set to go on floor on Ugadi, as per media reports.Helmed by Narendra Babu, 'Santheyalli Nintha Kabira' is based on 'Kabira Khada Bazaar Main' by Bhisham Sahni.

Besides Shivarajkumar, the film also stars Sanusha, Sharath Kumar, Akshatha Rao and Avinash.

It has also been learnt that the makers of the Sudeep starrer film 'Hebbuli' are also mulling of roping in Big B for their venture.

If all goes well, then Bachchan's fans in south will have a great time watching 'Kabira' in theatres.

BigB should retire from acting and stop promoting his beta bahu only otherwise he will lose whatever remaining respect he has left for his Living legend, angry young man, laal badshah, shahen shah etc. Aakhri raasta left is dir/prodn in bollywood.

    Peddu, Rightly said.

He is not the same angry young man type when he is 72. Moreover, we have seen enough of Amitabh talent for the last 45 years. Besides, he is in commercial ads, Realty shows. No doubt he is capable but let him give chance to new aspiring youngsters too. No one can remain 'I am the greatest' for ever. As time passes looks also fades.

AMITHABH WAS YOUNG THEN HE WAS OK AND WAS A SUPERSTAR !!

BUT NOW HE LOOKS LIKE A VENDOR WITHOUT ANY CHARISMA !! JUST PAID PUBLICITY

BETTER TO PRODUCE OR DIRECT THE MOVIES AND PROMOTE NEW TALENTS INSTEAD ACTING

No doubt, Amitabh is living legend and a Superstar but he has to think that he is not born to be Evergreen forever. Signs of aging are very much visible.
We should respect and salute him for his talents. He has everything money, family, fame and command over many things. This is the time for him to retire and cherish the great memories of his life.

I have never seen this Shivarajkumar talking to media without the word 'APPAAJI'. How long these people live in the shadow of their ancestors? If they do so, what they are leaving behind to their next generation? He makes 5-6 films in a year, most of them goes unnoticed. He can't speak like a hero.

I feel Sudeep/Ravichandran is the best co-actor for Bacchan.
