Sunny, windy Wednesday in Delhi


New Delhi, March 18 (IANS): It was a sunny and windy Wednesday in the national capital, as the maximum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 25.8 degrees Celsius. Thursday is likely to witness similar weather.

"The sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Thursday) and the day will be pleasant," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 26 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 93 percent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 26.9 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average while the minimum was 14.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
