Mumbai, Mar 17: The much awaited trailer of Piku is almost round the corner and is much awaited given the stalwarts cast in the movie - Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irfan Khan. Spinning a new and eccentric twist to the quintessential
father-daughter relationship, the film is said to have its trailer release along with the trailer for Byomkesh Bakshi.

Byomkesh Bakshi is a movie that is inspired by the yesteryear detective TV series on Doordarshan by the same name and has Sushant Singh Rajput as its main lead. Piku has been topic of many a conversation since it was reported to have gone on floors in the middle of last year.

All the three actors are also said to have donned on characters that are a far cry from anything they have done so far in their body of work and this movie has Deepika in a standalone title role. It is her first. Byomkesh Bakshi is a Yash Raj Films production and is also much awaited by many. It is directed by Dibakar Banerjee who has previously given movies such as Khosla ke Ghosla, Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye, Love Sex or Dhokha and Shanghai. Sushant Singh Rajput made his leap from TV to films and is also counted among promising actors in the industry.

All in all, if the trailers arrive, the films can't far behind.
