Mumbai, Feb 11: Taped conversation between alleged bookie Mukesh Kochar and West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels does not prove that the Nagpur One-Day International (ODI) was fixed, Maharashtra deputy chief minister RR Patil said.

Samuels was caught discussing over phone team details with Kochar ahead of the January 21 one-dayer in Nagpur.

"The conclusion drawn by police from the conversation does not establish that the Nagpur ODI was fixed", Patil, who also holds the home portfolio, told reporters.

"We are handing over our findings to ICC and BCCI", Patil said.
