Farhan Akhtar goes to Srinagar for 'Wazir'


Mumbai, March 1 (IANS): Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar moved to Srinagar for the shooting of his upcoming drama "Wazir".

"Off to Srinagar now for the final schedule on Wazir...Flight delayed by an hour... good things come to those who wait, I guess," Farhan tweeted on Sunday.

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Farhan, 41, will play an Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer in the film.

The teaser of "Wazir", written and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, released on December 19, 2014 with Aamir Khan-starrer "PK".

After the film's shooting, Farhan will enthrall music lovers at a concert in Noida on March 3.
