'Adventure Time' to get film adaptation


Los Angeles, March 1 (IANS): The popular animated TV series "Adventure Time" is heading for the big screen.

Chris McKay and Roy Lee are producing the Cartoon Network show's adaptation for Warner Bros, reports deadline.com.

Created by animator Pendleton Ward, "Adventure Time" tells the story of a boy named Finn and his best friend, a shape-shifting dog named Jake.

Many celebrities such as Neil Patrick Harris, Mark Hamill and George Takei have lent their voice for the series.
