Brosnan's Malibu home goes up in flames, actor unharmed


Los Angeles, Feb 12 (IANS): Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan escaped injury as his residence in Malibu was damaged in a massive fire.

The “James Bond” fame actor was spotted outside his residence at the time of the accident Wednesday night, reports mirror.co.uk.

NBC's Kenny Holmes tweeted photographs that showed Brosnan looking hapless and engrossed in a chat with fire-fighters, who were trying to extinguish the flames.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department also confirmed that fire had damaged Brosnan's five-mansion Malibu complex.

However, according to KABC, the fire reportedly started in the garage at about 11.30 pm local time and was later extinguished. No injuries have been reported.

The 61-year-old star is also known for movies like “The November Man”, “The Ghost Writer” and “Mamma Mia”.
