Mangalore, Jan 12: The recruitment drive for few posts in the Indian Air Force brought a long beeline of youngsters on Friday morning in Nehru Maidan.
The recruitment began during the wee hours of Thursday wherein over 4,500 youth gathered. The candidates passed through several tests including test for medical fitness.
As the minimum criterion was above 50 per cent marks in SSLC and thus the number of candidates attended the camp for around 400 posts.
Youth from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bangalore, Shimoga, Sakleshpur, Hassan, Madekeri and other places attended the camp.
