Berlin, Feb 10 (IANS): Actors Robert Pattinson and Carice Van Houten have joined Mia Wasikowska and Guy Pearce in writer-director Martin Koolhoven’s thriller film “Brimstone”.
Embankment Films is pitching the movie at the ongoing European Film Market in Berlin, reports variety.com.
Pattinson will play an outlaw, who has a crucial influence on this tale of retribution, while Wasikowska will essay Liz, a heroine on the run from her past.
“Martin directs a highly emotional, gripping and unique story of a mesmerising woman who battles the vengeance of a zealot,” said Tim Haslam of Embankment.
The principal photography of “Brimstone” will start in May this year.
