Delhi election fever grips B-Town


Mumbai, Feb 7 (IANS): Bollywood celebrities, taking a keen interest in Delhi elections, have urged fans to go out and vote for "change".

Voting for 70-member Delhi assembly is underway in Delhi Saturday. Elections are taking place in Delhi after over a year, since the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stepped down from office in February 2014 after ruling for 49 days.

While celebrities like Manoj Bajpayee, Preity Zinta and Nikhil Chinapa urged people of the national capital to go out in large numbers and exercise their fundamental right, some just hoped for cleaner and safer Delhi.

Here's what they tweeted:

Hansal Mehta: Woke up after a late night shoot with renewed hope. It's Delhi Election Day and I'm hopeful that #AAP will begin the process of change.

Mohit Chauhan?: On way to #Delhi to #vote. Delhi exercise your right and come out in huge numbers to vote.
