Ayushmann's 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' is a bag of laughs

Mumbai, Feb 5: Recently out, the trailer of 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' (DLKH) has its viewers in splits given its simple presentation of the scraps that loser Prem (Khurana) gets into post his marriage to oversized Sandhya (Bhumi Pednekar).

Hailing from a small town both the leads in the movie describe themselves with three things that they believe to be significant to themselves. Prem expresses his fear for the English language and his father's reprimands while Sandhya describes her dreams to become a teacher and marry a caring man. Prem has issues with the fact that his wife is fat and in that respect the complete opposite to his expectations of a wife. Sandhya on the other hand, having tried to gain and hold her husband's attentions finds all her efforts futile and resigns herself to having married an uncaring man.

Upon the insistence of his mother Prem enters into a competition in their town for the Best Married Couple. What ensues is probably worth the stomach pain that audiences will have upon laughing hard at the efforts put in by the two to work through their mutual resentment towards each other in order to win the local competition.
The movie will hit the theatres on the 27th of February.
