The outfit, owned by Agnel Rodrigues, has carved a niche for itself in local media with its reach even upto Suratkal, Ullal, Thokkottu, Bantwal and other places and is now ready to launch its own full-time Konkani news channel. 

The Konkani news channel, going by the name "Prasar Conqni", has been exclusively created to cover and telecast news related to Konkani.  This will be the only Konkani news channel dedicated to Konkani language, culture and people all over the coastal districts.

The channel will telecast Konkani-related news, record Konkani programmes and beam them, cover events and programmes from each parish with apt messages. 

The channel also wishes to extend its support to Konkani artistes and musicians and so encourage their talents.
