Mumbai, Jan 29: “The number of Tulu films in films industry is less. It is heartening to note that Tulu films are being recognized the world over. 45 films are released during the last 45 years. It has got life by 'Oriyardori Asal', tulu film. Nearly 50 tulu films are in the process of title possession and it is a high tide for tulu films. May more tulu family oriented films be released so that tulu films be recognized in the world”, said famous Tulu dramatist and film producer, story writer, dialogue writer and director Vijayakumar Shetty Kodialbail.
He was speaking on Monday, January 26 as a chief guest in the film show of 'Madime' tulu comedy film meant for families. The film is being shown in Maxas cinema on demand of Asalfa and Sakinaka area film lovers.




















In a simple ceremony held in the cinema hall just before the film show on Monday, Asalfa resident couple Madhava Bangera and Chandravathi Bangera with their family members exchanged garlands and celebrated their 51st year of married life. Kodialbail felicitated the couple. Meginamane Balakrishna Shetty, Maladi Balakrishna Shetty Mumbai convener of film and Prem Shetty who were present as guests of honor wished the couple well.
Special invitees Thonse Sanjeeva Poojary, advocate R G Shetty, Keshava N Anchan Povai, Ravi Mendon Kurkal, Babu Ameen Karinje, Venooru Suresh C Devadiga, Ramesh Poojary, Sunder Salian and other elite people were present. The relatives of Bangera couple present there sprinkled cold water and distributed jasmine flowers to women and invited them like in a wedding reception. However the priests were absent due to security restrictions during the wedding and Vijayakumar Kodialbail conducted the religious programme.
