Mumbai, Jan 28: Actress Sapna Pabbi who is busy with promoting her upcoming film Khamoshiyan recently brushed off questions about her link up with debutant director Karan Darra.

She said, "Karan solves all my problems and Karan helps me portray Meera and that is purpose in Khamoshiyan." She also joked that the two male leads of the film were "just tools."Sapna apparently was chosen by Karan to do this movie when he watched and appreciated her work in Anil Kapoor's TV series 24. Karan was watching the series while recuperating in hospital from dengue.

Sapna was surprised but not overly amused at being compared to Mallika Sherawat and said that there was no such similarity. She categorically stated that she was not a Mallika Sherawat. The comparison came up as both had come into the film industry via the Bhatt camp as well as the fact that both began with erotic love story interwoven through murder and intrigue. Mallika's movie was Murder while Sapna's is Khamoshiyan.

Sapna, while all praise for Mallika said, "Really? Well, I think she's great. Her success is commendable. Mallika Sherawat is in her own space. She has her own place in Bollywood and in society. I would like to say that I'm not a Mallika Sherawat, I'm Sapna Pabbi and I really hope I can always be Sapna Pabbi."
