Mangalore, Dec 31: An inspiring talk by the internationally known Austin D’Souza Prabhu, Chicago kept the audience glued to their chairs in Hotel Abhiman Residency on Saturday, Dec 30.

Organized by H R Alva and Associates, Maria Advertisers, the talk on Motivation

A talk on Motivation was aptly backed by the chronologically narrated life story of Austin himself. A daring journalist and a Konkani activist, Austin brought to his audience his life experience on the theme ‘never miss an opportunity’.

 

During the talk Austin highlighted the need of creating leaders. “Our attitude is everything and thus changing it needs optimism and the motivation to carryon with life despite all odds.

 

The mistake most of us make, said Austin, is to escape the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them.

 

Austin emphasized on the importance of a strong will power. “Where there is a will there is a way,” he stated the commonly used saying, adding that there is nothing impossible in life.

 

Commenting on the social life of Americans, Austin brought to the audience the existence of poverty in USA. He lamented that Indians do not join social service organizations in US; Austin informed that people from our nation are respected as they are best in IT.

 

Multiple council chairperson Lion Kripa Amar Alva and Konkani activist Basti Vaman Shenoy honoured Austin Prabhu.

H R Alva of Maria Advertisers and Concepta Alva of AIR were present on the occasion.
