Sana Khan raises questions on 'sudden' Upen-Karishma romance

Mumbai, Jan 19: Bigg Boss 8 evictee Sana Khan who came out of the house on the 16th of January, spoke out about the budding romance between inmates Karishma Tanna and Upen Patel. While previously there had been not even a peep out of the two even remotely resembling deep affection, upon Upen's second entry into the house, the two have literally glued themselves to one another. Sana questions the authenticity of this relationship.

The actress felt that neither the other contestants nor the audiences could be convinced that this was relationship for keeps and not just to hog extra footage. Whatever it is, I don't feel it is right," were Sana's exact words on the matter. She also said, "I am sure that the next contestant to be eliminated will be Mahek Chahal, even if Karishma and Dimpy are nominated with her. Karishma will benefit from the romantic angle with Upen and Dimpy will stay because Rahul is there, so they have their own story,".

Sana speculated that since the audiences will be interested in what is happening between the estranged Mahajan couple (Rahul and Dimpy), the two of them might get to stay on for a while. She however expressed her confusion on the ongoing concept of challengers and champions as she felt the two teams were not evenly matched. "I am honestly confused with the concept of Halla Bol series. We (Challengers) were not given the power to nominate the Champions. We had to do all the work in the house. So, how could we challenge them? All of us had our targets when we entered the house but we could not do anything. It was not a fair play between the Champions and the Challengers," she said.
