Boston University students visit set of 'Humsafars'

Mumbai, Jan 12 (IANS): A group of students from Boston University visited the set of "Humsafars" to understand the television production in India.

During their visit Jan 7, the students interacted with the star cast of the show, including Harshad Chopra, Shivya Pathania, Sehban Azim, Payal Rohatgi and Vibha Chibber.

Since a 'nikah' sequence was being shot, the students witnessed a glimpse of the rich Indian traditions and wedding ceremonies along with the drama.

They also got fascinated by Harshad and Shivya's wedding attire - sherwani and lehenga to the jewellery and make-up.

The actor too was impressed meeting people from a different culture.

"It feels nice to interact with people from different countries who share a common love for Indian shows. Since we were shooting the nikah sequence, they got to see the entire wedding drama," Harshad said in a statement.

"They complemented us on our costumes and told us how much they enjoyed Indian traditions," he added.
