Patricia Arquette wins Golden Globe for 'Boyhood'


Los Angeles, Jan 12 (IANS): Patricia Arquette received Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture award at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes here Sunday for her performance in "Boyhood".

She was up against Jessica Chastain ("A Most Violent Year"), Keira Knightley ("The Imitation Game"), Emma Stone ("Birdman") and Meryl Streep ("Into the Woods").

The Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture award went to J.K. Simmons for playing the role of a demanding music teacher in "Whiplash".
