Mumbai, Dec 31 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has thanked Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who retired from Test cricket and gave up his captaincy of the Indian team in the long form of cricket, for giving the country "moments of great pride".

"It requires courage and immense self assessment to accept that you are done. Thank you MS, you gave us all moments of great pride!," Amitabh tweeted Wednesday.

The "Don" star is currently busy promoting his forthcoming film "Shamitabh".

SRK set for 'uninterrupted’ love with his kids

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is looking forward to spend two days with his three children.

SRK has two teenaged children - son Aryan and daughter Suhana - with wife Gauri. His youngest son AbRam was born through surrogacy last year.

“48 hrs of uninterrupted unadulterated unconditional love with my Trimurti. No place I'd rather be than holding u three. Aryan Suhana AbRam,” Shah Rukh, who delivered blockbuster “Happy New Year” this year, tweeted Wednesday.

Actress-producer Preity Zinta is in the festive mood and has already made up her mind about what she wants to do in the coming year.
