Mangalore, Dec 11: It’s Rank Time for St Aloysius College

A rank is not a piece of cake and it is not easy to get one in your kitty.

The St Aloysius College Management, Principal, and the staff are proud of these achievers and congratulate and wish them well.

It is a fact as concrete as a rock that God has not created everybody with equal abilities. Some are blessed with sporting abilities, some with communication skills and some with academic excellence. But it still has to be made use of. As they say, ‘in the orchard of opportunities, you’ve got to pluck the fruit and not wait for the fruit to fall.’

With so much of competition around, it indeed is a milestone to have achieved it by getting a rank and being the best among a crowd.

A rank brings joy not only to the students concerned and their parents, but also to the institution that s/he studied in. Whenever a rank is recorded in black and white in the college records, it is considered to be another feather in the cap of the institution.

St Aloysius College struck a jackpot this time around with fifteen of its students bagging ranks at the undergraduate as well as post graduate level in the examinations conducted by the Mangalore University in 2005-06. An achievement to be proud of, indeed. Few colleges can boast of such an achievement.
