Abu Dhabi, Dec 8: Christmas Festival,  the annual extravaganza was celebrated on Friday in St  Joseph’s Cathedral premises in Abu Dhabi with pomp and  grandeur.








The grand event was inaugurated by Bishop Paul Hinder of Vicariate of Arabia with his opening speech, followed by releasing of colourful ballons.  Fr. Savarimuthu welcomed the parishioners with a brief message.




The eagerly-awaited Santa arrived on the back of a camel with cheering of the festive crowd.

The event included multi national stalls consisting of various food stalls catering multi cuisine from around the world.  Other stalls included games, lucky dips, painting and fun all around the church premises etc.


The crowd consisting of multinationals mingled with each other, raising the festive spirit.
