'Hawaaizaada' was a tough film: Ayushmann Khurrana

Mumbai, Dec 24 (IANS): Actor singer Ayushmann Khurrana, who will soon be seen in "Hawaaizaada", says making the movie was as tough as it must have been for the film's inspiration, scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, to make an airplane.

Directed by Vibhu Puri, "Hawaaizaada" is based on the life of Talpade, who is believed to have built India's first unmanned airplane.

“Yes, 'Hawaaizaada' was a difficult film. It was as difficult as making the first aircraft of the world. The film took almost one-and-a-half years to complete,” Ayushmann said at the launch of the film's trailer here Tuesday.

Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda in pivotal roles. It will hit screens on Jan 30, 2015.
