Hart signs new contract with Man City


London, Dec 20 (IANS): Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has signed a new contract which will keep him with the current Premier League champions until 2019.

"I'm really happy, I've been here a long time now and I want to keep that going," Hart told City's official website Friday, reports Xinhua.

Hart, who joined City from Shrewsbury Town in 2006, became first choice keeper in 2010-11 season.

He has since helped City win two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and League Cup in his 276 appearances for the club.
