Mangalore/Subramanya, Nov 27: The Champashasthi Bramha Rathotsava was held in all its grandeur at the well-known Kukke Shri Subramanya temple here on Sunday November 26. Thousands of people thronged the holy place to participate in the celebrations which are held annually.
MLA S Angara, temple trustees' committee president Dr M K Prasad, assistant commissioner of Puttur K A Appaiah, Kenya Ravindranath Shetty and others were among those present on the occasion.
Lunch was served to nearly thirty thousand people.
The brahmarathotsava came to an end with special poojas conducted at Kadayanakkatte and Dwadashi mantapas.
