Dubai: The Biggest Family Meet of Year - 'Family Fiesta' on Dec 8

Dubai, Nov 25: For everyone who is looking for a relaxed family outing, to relieve the stress and meet new friends and well-known people, here comes the 'Family Fiesta', the biggest family gathering of the year 2006 organized by Mangalore Konkans Dubai. This organization has been arranging such event every alternate year over the past 18 years now.

As Christmas season is approaching so fast, children await their loved Santa, and Santa will come much before Christmas on the Family Fiesta day with lots of gifts.

Dubai Exiles Rugby Club, near the Country Club and Nad Al Sheba, is the venue known for international events like special international Rugby game. An open ground environment is expected to bring many families, as entry ticket has been priced at easily affordable Dhs 20, which is a very nominal and token amount. Children below 5 years will be admitted free.

One of the most popular brand around the globe, specially around the Middle East NIDO from NESTLE , is the main sponsor of the event. The event will be officially titled as "NIDO Family Fiesta 2007".

"True Colors" - an entertaining band in true sense of the term and which has played for many major events around the UAE is the main band. However, as a special attraction,  Sri Lankan singer Don Sherman will perform live during the event.

Erol Goveas, undoubtedly the numero uno English compere available in the UAE, will be once again compering the Mangalore Konkans' event.

James Mendonca, president of Mangalore Konkans, while giving full details of the event said, "There are many more attractions in the event. A large number of gifts will be offered to the participants of various games."

"This year the Mangalore Konkans has organized two very successful events, a Konkani event in May and talent competition in September. We would like to sign off this year with a glorious landmark of a successful Family Fiesta," he said.
