Taiwan reports suspected Ebola infection

Taipei, Dec 6 (IANS): Taiwan's disease control authorities Saturday said that a 19-year-old man is suspected of being infected with the Ebola virus.

The man developed symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea since he returned from Nigeria, where he had contact with animals, the authorities said.

He is now isolated in a hospital in southern Taiwan, Xinhua reported.
